Counterstrike - No One Gets Out Of Here Alive/ Trapped Between Dimensions

Back on Algorythm Recordings for their first single of the year, Counterstrike kicks off with the title track, No One Gets Out of Here Alive. A trademark Counterstrike dark intro, leads to a catchy lead hook filtering in through the breakdown. The full hook reveal just before the drop leads to epic, low slung, subwoofer destruction. Trapped Between Dimensions sees Counterstrike on a tech tip. Interwoven arpeggios in the intro sets the tone for growling mids and juxtaposed stabs.

Sinister Souls - Downfall EP

Sinister-Souls_Downfall-EP.jpg

Pre-order from our STORE

Sinister Souls' long awaited second EP has landed on Algorythm. If it ain't Dutch it ain't much and it can't be more true coming from these two. A staple on PRSPCT and Therapy Sessions nights, they've stamped their unique sound on the scene by fusing together hardcore, drum and bass and dubstep.

Their EP opens with Downfall. A huge buildup leads to epic neuro destruction with catchy distorted riffing on the switch. Next up is Interrupted. A low slung acid line rides over pounding drums and robotic bass growls. Lastly they collaborate with Counterstrike on Monsters. 80's Inspired synths lead to melodic reese bass that gets pummeled with distorted 808's and high energy drums.

Release date: 20/12/2017

Fragz - Not Human

Fragz drops his debut release on Algorythm. The Porto native is no stranger to the drum and bass scene, having spent years moving up the ranks with his Portuguese, Yellow Stripe crew. This year he's seen releases on labels such as Position Chrome, Eatbrain, PRSPCT and Redlight. His No Human EP opens with Sigelei, a perfect example of hard, technoid drum and bass. Next up is a collaboration with label bosses Counterstrike. Inhale delivers a knockout with pummeling drums and driving riffs. All Systems uniquely fuses hard drum and bass with neuro elements. Two of the scenes rising talents, Frags and Merikan collaborate with a headshot of a tune on Sharpshooter. Lastly Fragz brings the remix treatment to Cooh and Counterstrike's classic, Computer Control.
